ACAMS, described as the global leader in certification and intelligence for anti-financial crime professionals, has launched an enhanced Certified Cryptoasset AFC Specialist (CCAS) program to help practitioners manage risks associated with crypto-enabled financial crime.
The CCAS program is the first major ACAMS certification to feature content from a global partner, blockchain data and analytics platform Chainalysis. Chainalysis is the first such global partner whose content appears in a major ACAMS certification.
The announcement comes as scams and fraud are reported to have hit $17 billion in crypto, and as crypto-enabled financial crime grows in scale and sophistication.
