CoinDCX has confirmed a loss of $16 million, days after its CEO described the matter as a “false alarm.” The Mumbai-based exchange said 15.99 million USDT was drained from wallets it had retired following last year’s $44 million hack.
The newly confirmed loss brings CoinDCX’s combined losses to nearly $60 million. The exchange said it is absorbing the hit.
