SABIC’s Fujian petrochemical complex, the company’s largest investment in China, is on track to start up in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to the company’s CEO. The timeline follows the completion of trial runs at three plants.

The Saudi petrochemicals giant also reaffirmed that its transformation program is on course to deliver $3 billion in recurring annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization improvements by 2030. Management told analysts that $950 million of that target had already been achieved year to date.
