World of Dypians has launched Single Strike on BNB Chain. In the mode, players choose one hero each day and get a single attempt at defeating a Dark Lord. A victory pays out Stars, Points and $WOD, the game's token; a loss ends that day's run, and players can return the following day.
The team announced the mode in a post on X: "One hero. One Dark Lord. One shot today." The post continued: "Win and earn Stars, Points, and $WOD. Lose and come back stronger tomorrow." Players reach Single Strike through the account section of the World of Dypians website. The announcement sets out three rules: a single hero, a single boss and one attempt per day. Reward amounts, the hero roster and Dark Lord stats have not been released, and the post leaves open whether there is an entry cost or whether players need a specific NFT or in-game item. The post emphasizes hero selection, framing the fight as a matter of picking the right hero for the matchup rather than raw strength, and closes with "Precision beats power" and the advice "Choose your hero wisely."
The launch follows closely behind a usage milestone: World of Dypians said on Oct. 12 that it had crossed 1.2 billion on-chain transactions. On July 29 the count stood at 1.14 billion, meaning roughly 60 million transactions were added over about 10 weeks. Around its launch in late 2024, the project reported 174 million transactions, and by September 2025 that number had reached 580 million.
WOD is a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain with a maximum supply of 1 billion. It debuted on Nov. 27, 2024, through an initial exchange offering priced at $0.04249. The token was trading at $0.00581952 on Oct. 4, putting its market cap at $3.59 million, with 24-hour trading volume of $783,560 that day. Binance Alpha added WOD in September 2025, and on May 28 Binance.US listed it with a WOD/USDT pair and an 8,500 WOD pool for new depositors. According to the project, $WOD is also part of BNB Chain's $100 million incentive program. World of Dypians is a free-to-play open-world MMORPG centered on combat, exploration and base building, with a map spanning 2,000 square kilometers, and is available on the Epic Games Store. The token's main network is BNB Chain, though the game also supports other networks, including Ethereum.
