Zcash developer Zakura has proposed a fix aimed at preventing quantum computers from linking shielded swaps, according to Zakura. The developer says that a single published Zcash address could allow a future quantum attacker to link every payment a wallet has ever received.

The proposal is framed around that stated risk: the exposure of one address, combined with future quantum capability, could connect a wallet's entire payment history. Zakura's fix is presented as a response to this scenario.
